About Me
Hello! My Name is Maillia. I'm Hmong, I was born and raised in Saint Paul, Minnesota. As a sophomore in high school, I always knew that one day I would become a cosmetologist. After graduating from high school, I went straight into working full-time customer service for about 5 years thinking that I'll never have the funds to attend beauty school. In 2019, I quit my wonderful job at Victoria's Secret of almost 3 years and I got married to my Husband who's from California. When I moved to California June of 2019, I knew I wanted to do something different. I wanted to become my own boss while making others feel good about themselves because aside from being my own boss, that's exactly what I did at Victoria's Secret. I want everyone to feel good, confident and comfortable in their own skin. From that moment on, I decided that I wanted to pursue my dreams of becoming a Licensed Cosmetologist. I enrolled in beauty school Fall of 2020, Graduated fall of 2021 and became a Licensed Cosmetologist Oct., 2021. Not only am I just a Licensed Cosmetologist, I am also a Certified Permanent Makeup Artist, and Certified Lash Artist who care about you and want you to look great and feel amazing EVERYWHERE you go!
My Site Policies
- A $75 non-refundable deposit(will go towards appointment) is required to book an appointment to prevent cancellations. Please do not waste my time or yours.
- All deposits and services are non-refundable meaning there are no refunds on ANY service.
- Wear Clothes that you do not mind getting wet or dirty.
- If you change your mind after your appointment and want something to be fixed, it will be considered a new service.
- If there is a mistake and a fixture is needed, I MUST be contacted within the first 3 DAYS following the initial appointment.
- No guests allowed if they are not receiving service.
Late Notices and Cancellations
Stuff happens, and sometimes you need to cancel your appointment with me. I get it. If you need to cancel more than 24 hours before your appointment, just give me a call or shoot me a message to let me know. If you don’t let me know or have to cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment, the non-refundable deposit will NOT be refunded.
Consultation & Booking
Please Provide:
• First & Last name, email & phone number or submit form at bottom of website.
• A DETAILED 6 year hair history(pictures are great)
- when your hair was last colored or done(At home or professionally)
• Pictures of your current hair down, from the front, side and back view.
• An inspirational picture or desired hair color.
This information will have to be sent through Instagram(@maillia.styles), Facebook messenger(@maillia.styles) or text and it'll help us keep it short and simple.
A consultation is important because this is when you will be expressing your wants, needs and concerns about your hair to me. This will also be the time to discuss about payment/pricing, I will give you an estimate on the service you want done then we can go forth with booking an appointment for you. Depending on the integrity of your hair, I may or may not be able to accept you as a client. Color results will also vary depending on hair integrity or may take more than one session to achieve desired color.

Hair Cuts
Basic haircut: $65
- Includes a full shampoo and conditioning experience, refreshed ends, light texturizing and Blow out style.
Layered Haircut: $75
- Includes a full shampoo and conditioning experience, refreshed ends, medium-heavy texturizing and Blow out style.
Blow Out
$75
A blowout is a unique way to style your hair using only heat and air to create smooth, shiny tresses with plenty of volume. The experience also includes a full shampoo and conditioning experience along with application of the perfect products designed to bring out the best in your hair.
Toning and All Over Colors
A color application to refresh lightened/bleached hair or darken hair color.
Medium(shoulder) length: $100
Long(armpit) length: $120
Extra Long(Midback) length: $140
Blonding/Lightening sessions
$75/hour
A blonding session is any service that requires bleach/lightener to lighten the natural hair(no box dye or permanent color on hair). That includes Partial/Full Highlights, balayage, all over babylights, etc.
Color Corrections
$85/hour
A Color correction is “fixing” or repairing the damage or unwanted results during chemical hair color processing. That includes previously colored hair, not done by me.
Hair Masks & Treatments
Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Intensive Treatment Mask for Damaged Hair:
Medium(shoulder) length: $50
Long(armpit) length: $60
Extra Long(Midback) length: $70
